Really good unique beers. You must try them

点评：Absolutely superb beers brewed in the brewery in the basement. A flight of their 4 atypical beers (not the IPA or Pilsner which are both really good) is a great introduction before choosing one to enjoy at length.
The Tor Tang IPA with seaweed added after fermentation is excellent. The Perleporter (a porter) is lighter with a cleaner taste than usual. Really easy drinking, as was the saison.
Beers sold in the pub are much higher ABV% than those in cans for taking out (Norwegian legal reasons) so do try them in the pub.
This is a quiet town, and the brewer, the owner, and the barman are happy to talk. As was the Ukrainian whose family was settling there with him learning brewing.
The pub is a converted chapel. The breweries beer pumps are integrated into the church organ, and the normal Norwegian commercial (cheaper) beers are pulled from the lectern from the pulpit.
And I'm especially grateful as I arrived on shore for only two hours, left my rucksack in the bar, and they kindly rushed it to the ship before it left for me to pick up.
I cant comment on the food as we didn't have any, but I'm sure it matches the quality of their beer.
