The Beacon Arts Centre的点评
点评：I spent £150 taking my Grand daughters to the K-pop Dance Heroes at the Beacon Centre in Greenock. It was a total scam and false advertising . The video shows 5 artist with audio signing that sounded nothing like the trio on stage. The poster shows 5 pink glad artists - I can assure you that is not what you get .The audience was full of exited young girls with purple plated hair, K-Pop costumes and face paint , the 3 individuals who came onto stage couldn't even be bothered to dress up - they looked like they raided a charity shop with one wearing what looked like her granny's table cloth around her jeans
When we went into the theatre the assistant told us we could not take pictures or video, I now understand why. The artists could not sing or dance The blonde screeched her way through every song like a strangled cat.
As K-pop is AI generated no one expected the signing to match the film but we at least expected the artists to be able to sing .
Most of the songs my Grand daughters didn't know and they kept asking me when K-Pop would be coming on
I told the assistant; the one who told us we could not film, that it was a scam she said " the kids are enjoying it " That is not a reason .
The look of shock on the Parents/Grand Parents faces when this trio of talentless, badly dressed randoms entered the stage said it all
Shame on you Beacon . You used false advertising to extort money from families because you knew how popular this genre is
I pay around £450.00 every December to take my family to the pantomime but this year I will be taking them to theatre that offers value for money and more importantly TALENT
Sorry I cant add any audio or photographic evidence on this review I would certainly advise everyone if they are on social media to tell their friends and family avoid this show at all costs. You will be extorted out of your money and you your children will be disappointed
My last point is to the Beacon Centre. People booked this because you added a video of the show. It shows 5 artist all dancing and singing in key. This is false advertising. 3 people turned up on stage who could not sing or dance. You should vetted the performance before you booked them and more importantly before you took peoples money
