点评：Sadly I’m not local to Ripon but I do visit several times a year. I don’t think this should make a difference to how people are treated but maybe it does.
This has always been my favourite pub. I’ve raved about it & recommended it to everyone I know near far and brought friends & family every time I’ve been. I own 90% of the merchandise options they sell!
I’m not sure if it’s been taken over or if the current landlady just didn’t work behind the bar before but the last couple of times I’ve visited this year I’ve been made to feel incredibly uncomfortable for even approaching the bar or ordering a drink. The lady has been incredibly standoffish and borderline rude.
I have to say, all the other staff have been lovely and that’s kept me coming back.
Today I was so excited to take my 80 year old dad to my favourite place as he’s a real beer drinker.
However the lady behind the bar was incredibly condescending and rude to him. It really upset me and I don’t think she’ll care but I’ll never visit or recommend here again. There are so many lovely places with beautiful staff in Ripon, it’s a shame that one person here lets it down.
If you don’t like people or customers who love your place then maybe it’s the wrong job for you.

然而，吧台后面的那位女老板却对他非常傲慢无礼。这件事真的让我很生气，虽然我觉得她不会在意，但我以后绝对不会再来这里，也不会推荐给别人。里彭有很多环境优美、员工友善的地方，真可惜这里一个人的糟糕表现拖了后腿。
如果你不喜欢喜欢你店里的人或顾客，那也许这份工作并不适合你。
