Umbrella Village - Bor Sang的点评
点评：I really like arts and crafts, and while this is a for-profit place looking like an NGO or coop, it's still great as this originally Burmese craft - and the parasols etc. look Burmese - is not generally popular anymore. So this arrangement is great. First watch the crafts process, then the painters, then the shop, and also a lot of really great photo opportunities - this is an Instaconscious place.
I had a wallet decorated (yes starts at 100 THB but I gave more) which still looks great and took very little time, and then selected an umbrella that fits into my suitcase. An umbrella not a parasol, meaning it's against rain and not just sun (although obv originally umbrella also means shadower). Why? because back home in the cold ugly Global North, a paper parasol is deko, not useful. But they have Thai cotton ones too which are then lacquered several times and are also available in the muted colors men usually were here. I got a blackish grey one which works great, looks great, and is a perfect usable souvenir - perfect size, and just ridiculously cheap.
Altogether, a great visit, highly recommended, and on the way of many tours from Chiang Mai. Also across is a really good 7 for a quick stop.

总的来说，这是一次很棒的体验，强烈推荐！这里也是众多清迈旅游线路的必经之地。对面还有一家很不错的7-11便利店，适合顺道停留。
