点评:Up front, we're cat people and had read the reviews, so we knew what it is. Highlights included the Cat Cave, which details feline evolution; the location of the museum (on top of a hill offering commanding views of the city); and the air conditioning, which was top notch. Notable exclusions (for me, at least):
* A cat cafe (They'd make a mint with this)
* The Stray Cats (a rockabilly band for those who don't know), although they had Cat Stevens who, despite his stage name, never released a song about cats but had a hit with "I Love My Dog." And no mention of Al Stewart or Harry Chapin, either. Maybe a shout out for CSNY's "Our House" would be appropriate?
* Bill the Cat (from the comic strip Bloom County by Berkeley Breathed, perhaps omitted as he's controversial)
* Fat Freddy's Cat (from the underground comic Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers by Gilbert Shelton, almost certainly omitted because he's controversial)
* And, last but not least, Fritz the Cat (exceedingly controversial, go ask your mother.)
Nevertheless, we loved it and are glad we went. As the title reads, though, understandably not for everyone.
