Tripitos Arch的点评
点评：We docked in the charming harbour town of Gaios, the picturesque capital of Paxos, we had some free time to explore the town and the surrounding area. Feeling adventurous, we hired a quad bike (let's just say... it was an experience!) and set off to explore the island. The good news is that Paxos isn't very big, so it's easy to get around.
Our mission was to find the famous Tripitos Arch, one of Paxos' most iconic natural landmarks. Formed thousands of years ago when the roof of a sea cave collapsed, this incredible limestone arch rises dramatically above the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea and is a true testament to the power of nature.
The walk down to the arch starts along a stony path before becoming a little more rugged towards the end, so we'd definitely recommend wearing sturdy footwear rather than flip-flops. Once you arrive, however, every step is worth it. The views are simply breathtaking, with the magnificent arch standing proudly against the endless blue of the Ionian Sea. It's one of those places that photos just can't do justice and a must-visit if you're exploring Paxos.
