Lovely experience, just a couple of minor things to improve

点评：We were on this train from Longreach to Brisbane, 26 hours. We booked a sleeper room which was comfortable, though small and tight. We were served breakfast, lunch & dinner which were all outstanding, plus a free beer/wine etc. The train wasn’t overly full.
So, my little complaints. The toilet in our carriage D had no hand dryer or paper towels. I asked other people on the train if they had one, yes they did. My husband approached two staff in the dining car and they sad it was a box on the door of the toilet. So off we went to take a look, nope nothing. We went back and got of the staff to come with us. sure enough, nothing to dry our hands. She said she would put some papertowles in there. So a few hour later I checked, still no paper towels. It’s a bit unhygienic to think people are going to the toilet and not being able to dry their hands! That was disappointing.
The intercom/speaker in our room did not work. We had no idea of what was being announced, this was also mentioned to the staff. There was no information shared with us as to how to contact staff during the night if there was an emergency.
I believe the food was 10/10 and the price of alcohol was very reasonable. Overall we enjoyed this experience and would definitely recommend people doing this.
