点评：We really enjoyed our train trip to Longreach and return to Brisbane. The train is a bit old but still comfortable. The meals were excellent and the staff were terrific. Our sleeper cabin was very comfortable especially when in a sitting position. In the evening while you are dining the staff make up your bed, this makes the cabin very small but if you realise that before you go it won't be a problem. The luggage was handled efficiently and promptly. Because of rail works near Brisbane we were bused back to Brisbane from Gympie North. The transition from train to bus went smoothly as did the drop off of passengers along the way at Cooroy, Nambour and Caboolture. (We knew about the bus situation when we originally booked so no surprises)
My only complaint was the address system on the train was hopeless and we couldn't hear any announcements in our cabin, a problem shared by other passengers on the train.
