Very enjoyable temple experience visited as a day tour from Ubud
乌伦达努布拉坦寺的点评
点评：We recently included a visit to the important Ulun Dana Bratan Temple as part of a UNESCO-oriented full day trip with Ubud Area Tours. Opening times around 6am to 7pm daily. Entry is IDR 75,000 per adult and can be paid with cash or credit card.
We visited first thing in the morning before the crowds had really gathered. There is parking available directly in front of the temple grounds. These were rather full up by the time we had completed our roughly 45 minute visit.
You can enter the grounds without sarong and walk around the lakeshore grounds. The temple grounds include traditional Balinese Hindu style architectural temple structures which have a history dating back to around 1633 along with beautiful landscaping and various forms of entertainment. There are public toilets, cafes, coffee shops ass well as a small zoo area with a handful of rescued animals including civets, bunnies, owls, fruit bats which you can feed and have pictures taken with them for a small donation fee if interested.
The grounds at Ulun Danu Bratan are beautiful and very photogenic, the temple itself is attractive, particularly the shrines situated in the lake water. We admittedly, quite enjoyed, seeing the civets, owls and fruit bat as well. Environs are really nice, making it easy to spend quite a bit of time here. Unfortunately if you are on a day tour, you may need to limit yourself to 45-60 minutes in order to allow enough time to make your other intended visits on the day.
