Wall diving + macro underwater photography
Miguel's Diving Gorontalo的点评
点评：Gorontalo is more than just whale shark...The wall diving experience is amazing, Miguel crew all come with pair of macro eyes to find small critters + they are expect in underwater photography as well..Please make sure your buoyancy steady enough to hovering for photo taking..I am lucky enough this time to encounter hammerhead shark passing by, if you are super lucky may see Ocra or whale passing. Gorontalo unique coastal line landscape and its rich marine biodiversity attract migrated whale, Ocra..There are criticisms on whale shark feeding & photography..I just want to clarify few point
1. No net or caging on whale sharks ,open ocean, whale shark come in get morning snack & go ..
2. There are chances whale shark does not come in, uncertain how many whale sharks drop by
3. All whale sharks spotted so far are all male, all named Sherry
4. The money go to local community and boost up local tourism . Divers can opt out whale shark activity ,do not necessary overacting by skipping diving in Gorontalo .
Miguel diving is the only dive centre in Gorontalo operate with own dives crew, boat and facilities.. they maintain high SOP to ensure diver safety as top priority. Majority DM & instructors are free-lance in both Manado & Gorontalo, safely measure varies, I will strongly recommend to dive with Miguel Diving in Gorontalo
