点评：Extremely disappointing experience — DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.
My fiancée booked a private excursion with Lake Como Boat for us, but unfortunately, we were unable to attend due to an official Orange Warning for thunderstorms. To be completely clear, we have no issue with the cancellation itself. We fully understand that weather is unpredictable and outside of anyone’s control, and we would never expect a company to be responsible for the weather.
What is completely unacceptable is how we were treated when we tried to resolve the situation.
The customer service we received was aggressive, hostile, and completely lacking in professionalism. Despite the official weather warning and unsafe conditions, our request for a refund was refused. Instead of showing understanding or making any reasonable effort to accommodate us, the interaction left us feeling as though we were being treated unfairly for something that was entirely outside of our control.
We were even willing to rebook the experience when we return to Lake Como. However, after the way we were spoken to and treated, we have absolutely no interest in giving this company our business again.
A company can’t control the weather, but it can control how it treats its customers. Unfortunately, Lake Como Boat failed us on that front.
We strongly advise anyone visiting Lake Como to think twice before booking a private tour with this company. We will certainly be sharing our experience with our friends, family, and anyone we know planning a trip to Lake Como. What should have been an exciting experience instead became an incredibly frustrating and upsetting one.
Based on our experience, we would not recommend Lake Como Boat and will never book with them again.
