点评：Chorao Island is reported to be the Largest Island in North Goa and can be reached by Government Ferry from Ribandar. Since we wanted to cover both Divar Island and Chorao Island in 1 day, we first took the Ferry from Ribandar to Divar Island, then drove to the Divar Ferry Terminal on the other side of Divar Island and took a Ferry to Naroa, from where we drove to Chorao Island. Thereafter, we took the Ferry from Chorao Island back to Ribandar on the Mainland. Chorao Island is Most Famous for the Dr. Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary where you can not only enjoy watching various species of Birds, but you can also take a Boat Ride around the Mangroves and enjoy the ride as well as see some more Birds & Crocodiles as well. Unfortunately, during our visit in Sep 2026 this Bird Sanctuary was Closed for Renovations and so we could not visit it or take the Boat Ride. We therefore only visited the St. Bartholomew’s Church and the Devki Krishna Temple, which are the other two main places to visit in Chorao Island. Although there are a couple of places to stay at in Chorao Island, there is nothing to do here and also there are no good Restaurants to dine at. This is why we first visited Divar Island where there are a couple of Good Restaurants where we had our Lunch and then proceeded to see Chorao Island. However, the Island itself is quite Scenic and Beautiful, although we found Divar Island to be Cleaner and More Beautiful than Chorao Island.
