点评:We always visit this wonderful cat sanctuary when in Rome. It is a heart-warming place to visit because the volunteers are so obviously dedicated to looking after the cats who live there. All of the cats that live inside have significant health issues, neurological problems or being blind. This means they could not survive outside. You literally could not ask for a more caring group of volunteers. They know every cat. its problems, and its quirks. We both support the sanctuary by adopting a cat at a distance, so in this way we can help them financially. They get no state funding, so rely on donations. I have been sad to see some of the negative reviews on here, and can only say that in the seven years we have been visiting (often two or three times per holiday) the staff have always been warm, friendly and informative. So, if you do visit, please think about supporting them with a donation. We get a three-monthly email about our adoptees (Editerraneo and Strabone) and this helps create a genuine bond between us and the staff and cats at this sanctuary.
