点评：A fascinating visit to a couple's home who are mushers and own 67 Alaskan sled dogs. Participating and perhaps winning the famous "Iditarod"race is one of their goals but also very clear that they loved and cared dearly for this very unique and special breed.
Demonstrations and movies of the dogs racing and general information about the life of a sled dog were well presented.
The couple own a beautiful property outside Denali...a 40 minute ride from the hotel. The wife picks you up in her own bus and beautifully narrates extensive information about the sled dogs and how she became involved in the business 20 yrs. ago with her husband.
Well worth the visit especially as Alaska huskies are a big part of life in this amazing spectacular wilderness and are very loveable and sweet natured dogs.
As a special treat we were offered to to cuddle and hold newly born puppies as they begin their mushing life experiences.
