点评：I booked a little solo adventure for myself after my husband injured his shoulder and was unable to go snorkelling with me this year.
I chose the seal and lagoon tour later on in August after being advised by the company that my dislike of thick wetsuits wouldn't be much of a problem due to water temperature. They were spot on, and I was able to wear my own 4mm wetsuit and not feel the cold.
The variety of marine life in the waters around the snorkel site was quite something. We saw loads of fish species along with spiny starfish, crabs , anemone and urchins. There was a variety of different underwater habitats to see and we had a single cheeky seal who came to check us out. Being able to experience such an environment was absolutely incredible.
From the boat we got great views of minke whales, common dolphin, harbour porpoise, seals and various seabirds. The folks running the trip were clearly very knowledgeable and great care was taken around wildlife (the company is signed up to the WiSe scheme). Luna was great at pointing out interesting things when we were in the water and it was lovely chatting to the skipper as well (afraid I forgot his name).
Overall, an amazing day out and I can't wait to book in again next year!
