点评：We have visited this beach and temple during our visit to Guhagar. Which I was planned to visit since many years as Velneshwar Is famous tourist spot in Maharashtra. Somehow it become true during 2025.
Velneshwar beach is a peaceful beach located in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra which is known for its natural beauty and Clean water. Nearest Railway station is Chiplun. This is more attractive because of Velneshwar Mandir which is just situated front side to this beach. During Monsoon this area becomes even more attractive, with streams, waterfalls and lush green landscapes enhancing the Scenic Beauty.
Interesting Facts about Velneshwar Beach:
1. Velneshwar beach is known for its clean white sand and clear blue water, This is among the top 20 cleanest beaches of India.
2. Velneshwar beach is an ideal for swimming and Sunbathing. The green palm grooves and rock free sea water make the beach so beautiful and attractive.
3. Velneshwar beach is also very popular for its Maha Shivaratri fair which is conducted in the month of March every year making it very popular.
4. Velneshwar is a significant site for Konkan culture. The local lifestyle, traditions, and culture are a point of pride for the people. Please respect all those cultural points during your visit.
5. MTDC resort is available near beach which is best option to stay if you are planning to spend couple of days here.
