Experience the Magnificent Beauty of Jordan by Bike

点评：As a married couple, we have cycled together all over the world. Amy, had participated in a hiking trip with Experience Jordan before and suggested we use their service. We contacted Anton from Experience Jordan, who tailored our ride perfectly to match our dates and what we wanted to see. We brought our own gravel bikes from the US for our adventure; which were well-suited to the mountain and desert terrain. Our three days consisted of the following: Shobak Castle to Petra, Petra to Wadi Rum, and Wadi Rum through the southern portal to the Desert Highway. Aside from cycling , there were many other highlights on our trip including: a late-afternoon visit of Petra (fewer tourists!), a delightful and delicious, home-cooked breakfast with Fatima who told us about growing up in Petra and knowing the archeologists, a fire-side tea break in an authentic Bedouin tent, jeep tour of Wadi Rum with Omar who showed us special locations within the Wadi Rum ending with a sunset viewing (great time for photography!) We also chose to stop in historic Aqaba for a lunch overlooking the Red Sea marina before our drive back to Amman. We were very grateful for the services and expertise of our driver and escort, Ahmad Alzaleebeh, who was so knowledgeable, patient, flexible, and helpful. He kept us on track; even though we stopped to take so many photos and videos. We always felt we were in good hands. Whenever, circumstances required us to make a change, Ahmad had a good solution. Ahmad is also a great driver on all terrain. The route was beautifully curated. We could not have asked for better. Overall, we cycled about 50-percent off-road. We paused frequently to take in the magnificent beauty of Jordan and to take photos. We love seeing the natural beauty of a country; it was challenging, and it was a delight!
