点评:My husband is a below knee amputee and wanted to tackle this walk whilst on holiday in Denia. Our fitness level is average. We walked the route to the Cima starting at 7am to avoid the hottest part to the day.
The first part is an easy walk with wide path, good terrain and gentle incline. It lulls you into a false sense of security. The second part is quite a steep, narrow path and a lot of loose limestone. Going up was not particularly challenging although certain parts were ‘scrambley’. The descent was quite difficult as the loose terrain makes it quite slippery. Especially with a prosthetic leg. Doable but had to take a lot of care..The views are fantastic but i would recommend not underestimating the walk if you are not fit. Good hiking boots are a must especially for the descent as your feet will take a beating. We found walking sticks were really useful on the way down. Take plenty of water as you will sweat a lot of you go in July!
