Good view, cafe opens at 12pm

点评：Fantastic view, cafe wasn’t open (& too cold to wait). NOTE: You pay to enter the viewpoint to the entrance to the cafe. You can get the same view near the top of the steps.
Walked up in icy/ snowy weather and everyone (apart from one person running) was being very sensible (treacherously slippy!). There’s a handy handrail.
Not sure why the cafe only opens at 12 but after reading reviews and already paying to go through the gates to access the viewpoint/ cafe front door. A bit of a missed opportunity seeing as pretty much our whole cruise ship were walking up by 10am and probably would’ve bought at least a cuppa!
Once you pay to enter the viewpoint- a really thin paper QR code prints off, making it interesting in the rain/ snow which disintegrates your ticket when you’re trying to scan it to open the door- you’ll hear a beep when it’s worked.
I’d like to think the cafe gives you a bit of a discount after paying to enter.

我希望咖啡馆在收取入场费后能给你一些折扣。
