点评：What a spa! I booked a day in the spa and from the moment I drove down the picturesque drive to see the magnificent moated ‘castle’, I was completely overawed. Staff in reception, Sarah and Chris were extremely welcoming before I embarked on a leisurely stroll. The grounds are stunning and provided a relaxing prelude to a wonderful spa experience.
Nestled in the grounds the spa is set in a wonderful , tranquil setting. So tranquil a Heron had decided to join the other guests and I. The ebullient Imogen welcomed me and explained the facilities, before I whiled away the morning in the fabulous sauna , steam and jacuzzi. This was followed fill by a superb massage by Steph followed by a chilled afternoon pool side on a lounger. Another positive feature of the spa is that it is a clear emphasis on not trying to pack the spa too much. I cannot fault this hotel and spa and would recommend unreservedly. Thank you all and I look forward to returning and trying more Hand Picked hotels if they are as good as this.
