Informative winery visit, a tasting of a wide range of wines and good food to accompany the tasting.

点评：Domaine Skouras is a modern winery (1986) with contemporary equipment and make a range of very good white and red wines using both indigenous and international varieties. Our preference was an indigenous white wine (Moscofilero) and found the red wines benefited from having some international variety (e.g. Cabernet Sauvignon) in the blend. One of their most popular indigenous white wines, Assyrtiko, had run out. The food, served buffet style, was an excellent accompaniment to the wine. It included pomegranate salad, cold slaw, roasted eggplant, feta and spinach pie, beef and meat balls. The tasing finished with a very sweet but excellent baklava. The wine guide (Eleni) hosting the tasting gave excellent information and competently answered questions. Domaine Skouras is highly regarded in Greece.
