Such a fun time in Portugal!
Secret Italia Tours的点评
点评：We recently completed our first trip with Secret Italia Tours; this was our first small-group, mini-bus adventure and it was delightful! We began in Lisbon, ended in Porto and had several overnight and excursion stops along the way.
The itinerary was interesting and varied: gorgeous old castles, churches and palaces; beautiful vistas - especially the Douro valley and mountain-side vineyards; wonderful, clean and spacious hotels - all serving full, fresh and delicious breakfasts - something for every palate; fantastic restaurant and winery stops for lunch, dinner and taste-testing; river and canal cruises; a cooking class; and more! The pace was perfect, though the terrain was often hilly.
Pedro, our knowledgable and flexible guide, was well-organized and and quick on his feet when circumstances required slight changes in timing or plans. He relayed information clearly and handled questions well in perfect English. Pedro was very considerate when it came to ensuring that the group was together at all times - even in crowded spaces, often accompanying us back to the hotel even after free-time. He provided suggestions for eateries and stores - always with great patience and humor.
Sergio, our gracious driver, was excellent! We felt no flutter of nerves as he navigated expertly the serpentine and sometimes steep roads up the mountains along the Douro Valley.
If this trip is a taste of other SIT tours, I would certain recommend others in addition to the Portugal tour.
