Profitis Elias - Konnos Nature Trail的点评
点评：Parking the car up by the small church area , the trail is signposted virtually opposite.
We did three times on our two week stay at the Grecian Park hotel.
Let’s put the myths and cynicism to bed now.
From the car park to the beach kiosk at Knossos it’s a stroll of 25 minutes there and back.
You firstly go across some rugged ground then up onto a winding dirt track well trodden pathway.
This pathway tends to hug the coastline with some good views of the blue lagoon.
Ok it then goes slightly up with the odd turn with well worn steps to negotiate but not difficult at all.
Around 10 minutes or so in the pathway deviates you can either carry on straight or drop down towards the coastline (both paths meet up at the kiosk).
Anyone with walking difficulties may find it a challenge and it’s not wheelchair accessible either.
Spring time the wildflowers are in bloom , there’s seats dotted around the coast viewpoints.
If your doing it summer is say get it competed before 11am has it can get rather warm.
The entrance to the pathway from the kiosk end is either walk through the beach bar or you can access the top path from behind the public toilets .
