Avoid booking with “Discover Krakow”

点评：I rarely leave negative reviews, but the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour we booked through this company (via HelloTickets.com) was such an appalling experience that I feel compelled to warn others: do not book with them.
We booked tickets 14 days in advance for an 8:00am entry. Instead, less than 12 hours before, we were told to be ready at 4:00am. We arrived at Auschwitz by 5:30am, two hours before the gates even opened and were left standing outside in the rain with no explanation.
When the gates did open, we queued for five more hours with zero guidance from our so-called tour leader. Only at the ticket window were we informed that the first available English-language tour wouldn’t begin until 1:00pm, five hours later than scheduled and completely different from what we had booked.
Exhausted and frustrated, we had to join a Polish-language tour (which we couldn’t understand) and ended up buying a guidebook just to follow along. To make matters worse, we were abandoned afterwards and had to pay out of pocket to get back to Krakow.
This was not the meaningful, respectful, or organized experience promised. It was chaotic, misleading, and disrespectful, not only to us as customers, but to the significance of visiting Auschwitz.
The service we received bore no resemblance to what we booked. We expect a full refund, but more importantly, we want to stop others from being misled the way we were.
Save yourself the stress and disappointment. Do not book with this company.
