The Big Cat Sanctuary的点评
点评：We booked the afternoon tea and walk around the sanctuary as a retirement family get together. On arrival you all have to check in on an iPad. We then had a walk around the enclosures. The sanctuary was absolutely spotless and the enclosures had fantastic views of all the animals.
We got back at 11:50 to the retreat where our afternoon tea would be served. In the retreat you get fantastic views of two female and one male lion.
We were asked what drink we would like but had to ask what type of teas/drinks were available. The young server brought a menu over to our table. We were provided with a complimentary blueberry lemonade this was very refreshing. The menu said a selection of teas, when we went to order one of our party asked for Darjeeling tea, this request was met with confusion, the only teas available were green, peppermint and normal teas.
Afternoon tea was well presented, sandwiches and sausage roll were lovely, a selection of cakes were also provided, the brownie was dry, the frangipane cake was really hard and the carrot cake had a metallic taste. It wasn’t the best afternoon tea we’ve had.
The restaurant was busy so service was not the best.
We were then able to have another walk around the enclosures before it was time to go home.
