Vaidyagrama Healing Village的点评
点评：I was recommended here by my own teacher many years back. Foreigners seem to love it.
However, The fees here are extremely high and you mostly pay for the teaching, the fancy modern room which is kept up by the cleaning staff quite well but dark, and cold, and food/maintenance/ farms and construction. Hardly anyone available in your section when you need Kevin phone. It takes a while and many many people keep asking the same thing when you’ve explained it to someone already as the staff and place is too large to manage each patient with a personal touch.
So If you are looking for an *authentic* ayurvedic experience with knowledgable therapists, overseeing and following proper rules of food and behaviour while in treatment, and a single senior doctor, this is NOT the place.
Aside from the kitchen staff, I repeatedly. Noticed that the doctors and admin do not keep their word and do not respond to constructive feedback. It’s sad but was true on more than one occasion.
I did learn a lot here and met amazing people. Also enjoyed the natural beauty of the surroundings which have been created, but it has become highly commercialised. I do hope they Continue the good charitable work. But if one could make it to Kerala it would make a huge difference in your healing. Both times I came out worse than when I went in.
