点评:The VeloVolant is a very unique experience, however, it should be made clear that this "ride" is not for everyone. Yes, they make it clear that if you fear heights then you should probably not partake! However, what the young man who placed us on the bike described as a "slight incline" was NOT slight in the least! I am not the most athletic of people but the incline was a massive challenge for me and for the friend who went with me. It should have been a red flag when signing the waiver that there was a $100 rescue fee...still wondering how they would rescue you! :) They do show a video before you go off, however, the video is in French so we were told the guide would tell us everything in English. It was a two-minute conversation. We also asked if you do have issues how do you contact him and he pulled down a little whistle and said you need to blow it, which we found pretty funny...that is before we took the ride but boy oh boy, I was tempted to blow that whistle on the "slight incline" but decided back up, close my eyes and pedal like a maniac and I was able to get to the next spot. My friend said she felt as if she was going to vomit after the "brutal slight incline". So, with this being written, if you are out of shape, have any leg or joint issues, fear heights or don't like riding a bike....DO NOT GO ON THIS ADVENTURE ! If you are young and fit, ENJOY! :)
