Giant Christmas tree, upscale food court, modern washrooms
Erin Mills Town Centre的点评
点评：We seldom go to malls so it is hardly surprising that we've never been to Erin Mills Town Centre before. It didn't help that this mall is quite a ways from us plus the fact that we're closer to Square One. Found an excuse to finally visit in Dec when I learned Erin Mills Town Centre has a giant Christmas tree display—just the prop I wanted for my family's annual Christmas photo.
We scheduled our morning visit on Mon, 15 Dec, and got here before 10:30AM. Easily spotted the mall from Eglinton Ave W due to its striking glass dome. Plenty of free outdoor parking. We decided to park near Entrance A, walked inside the mall and quickly located the Christmas tree—hard to miss as it stood in the centre court under the glass sphere skylight. This area is airy and bright thanks to an abundance of natural light. I really liked the tasteful holiday decor—really photo worthy. There's even a reflecting pool on one side of the centre court. The friendly professional Santa looked super convincing and was sitting on the couch in front of the fireplace, waiting for photo appointments.
After our Christmas tree group photo, we did a little mall sightseeing and window shopping. I was even able to do a bit of clothes shopping at Fairweather. We had a look at the large Food Court on the upper level—really upscale, with high ceiling and unobstructed view of the city skyline. Food options include Grill It Up, Shanghai 360, A&W, KFC, New York Fries, Villa Madina, to name a few. The public washroom is modern and spacious. I really liked the layout with the sinks and mirror in the middle. The mall directory map we saw near Entrance A was not interactive—had a sign that said "not a touch screen".
We were only here for 1.5 hours so didn't get to fully explore this mall. Still, I saw enough to say Erin Mills Town Centre is one of the nicest we've been to. Would definitely like to visit it again.
