点评：I went on 2 tours with Albatros. guiding is excellent for both tours
Tour #1: Russel Glacier
- 4 hours, 10 am - 2 pm
- shared group tour (7 pax)
- 60-90 min drive on ice road using monster truck
- saw 3 reindeers and 1 plane crash site 67.06277,-50.38591 along the way
- begin 1.2 km / 30 min hike at trailhead 67.09395,-50.27158. hike is both up and downhill.
- first viewpoint 67.09087,-50.25970
- main viewpoint 67.095156, -50.237189
- spent 30 min at main viewpoint, which is more than enough time
- all in all, a great relaxing way to see a 60-70 m tall glacier moving at a speed of 20 m per day. there is also a waterfall and oxbow-like river flowing at the glacier. in august, the surrounding fields in front of the glacier have many Arctic wool wildflowers, gorgeous!
Tour #2: Full Day Adventure on the Ice Sheet
- 8 hours, 10 am - 6 pm
- shared group tour (5 pax)
- saw 15 reindeers and a flock of Canadian geese en route
- UNESCO bench overlooking hunting ground and Russell and Reindeer Glacier 67.09024,-50.29241
- parking at Point 660 67.15252,-50.04983 , have lunch then get suited up in harness
- trailhead 67.15174,-50.04010 . wear crampons as the ice begins from here.
- 4G internet on ice 67.14516,-50.01253
- first canyon 67.14590,-50.00700

- twin lakes 67.14758,-50.00930
- second canyon

- multiple moulin along the way (French word for mill) where meltwater flow through a shaft

- if there is any guided tour i recommend, it would be this. i am not sure how accurate the gpx track is out there for walking on ice, but this is something I would say worth paying for for efficiency and perhaps also safety on ice. the total walk on ice is 5-6 km / 4 hours
