Pearl Harbor Tours的点评
点评：As a history professor, I've always enjoyed visiting historic sites so that I can experience the physical sensation of being in places I've read and taught about and Pearl Harbor has always been on the list. Arranging the tour is super easy, we did the Complete Experience which lasts all day and is definitely worth it! Our tour guide Tim was fantastic--he provided excellent background information on the events of the attack as well as unique insights into Hawaiian history and culture. Pick up at our hotel was super easy, the van was comfortable, and just an all around great experience. Some people have complained about the nature of the AZ Memorial and waiting, construction, etc. We were informed of the potential inability to see the Memorial before hand--and that is beyond the tour companies control--but we got lucky thanks to Tim!
All of the sites are worth seeing but the USS Bowfin and Missouri were the highlights to me--walking through a WWII submarine and battleship gave unique perspective and a greater understanding of what our brave sailors endured--especially the cramped nature of the submarine. The aviation museum was also really cool--especially the restored Zero. All in all, a great way to spend a day and well worth it!
