Ruined a lovely place
Whisby Garden Centre的点评
点评：We always stop at this garden centre as it's a half way house from Leicester to the East Coast. We love to sit and have coffee and cake overlooking the lakes and the lovely surroundings. It was one of our favourite places, not any more.
Now the monstrosity of a new cafe has been built ( granted it does look nice but to hot and stuffy) the old cafe and the outside area has been left to run down. Dirty tables covered in bird poo, weeds everywhere, no flowers just dead ones and overgrown plants that block the view of the lake. Ordered 2 cream teas which came with no cream and after a long walk back into the new cafe was told they had run out of cream but offered me more jam !!! After complaining 2 tubs of cream miraculous appeared.
Seems everything is about the new cafe and the original cafe and outdoor area has lost its charm. We are now looking for a new half way stop off. Such a shame 😟

现在，一家丑陋至极的新咖啡馆建了起来（虽说看起来倒也不错，但里面又热又闷）。而原来的咖啡馆及户外区域则被任由荒废。桌子上满是鸟粪，到处杂草丛生。没有鲜花，只有枯死的花朵以及长得过于茂盛、挡住湖面景色的植物。我们点了两杯奶油茶，结果根本没有奶油；走了好一段路回到新开的咖啡馆后，店员说奶油已经用完了，却还给我更多果酱！！！在我们投诉之后，两盒奶油才“神奇地”出现了。
似乎现在一切都以新咖啡馆为中心，原先的咖啡馆及户外区域也失去了往日的魅力。我们现在正在寻找另一个中途休息的地方。真是可惜啊 😟。
