点评:Myself and my husband travelled ourselves to the Grand aquarium. The entrance fee was £30.00 each.As soon as we walked through the entrance we were ask if we wanted photos, okay , we decided to for the upkeep of the animals and fish.We chose the small book with pictures.I can honestly say the moment we stepped in all we heard was 123 smile,123 smile 123 smile. We just wanted a peacful couple of hours. We missed most of the exhibits trying to dodge the cameras. The next part is not derogatory in any way to the grand aquarium but I felt as though the animals and tanks needed a little more attention to detail.Number 1 entering I did not see where you could buy food, the koi carp have'nt got enough water for the amount of fish you have, number 2 the croc enclosure is to small and a couple were fighting.number 3 the pelican enclosure could do with expanding the waterfall is a nice touch though at least they have water. number 4 fish and turtles look good if the tanks were cleaned more, and maybe some more places for them to hide from flashing cameras.number 5 I didnt see any water in any of the animal enclosures, nor anything to help the animals with enrichment, your monkeys looked sad, they need ropes and branches, swings and puzzles like logs with holes driĺled in and food put in for enrichment. With a little bit of TLC and education you could have a beautiful oasis in the middle of Hurgarda. If you were to put feeding stations at points through the zoo that you pay for, and hand washing stations for people to use when they've petted the animals and birds it would stop a lot of transfer of bacteria from species to species.I dont think you need the frogmen handling the rays and shark either as fish have a biofilm covering their bodies to protect them from infection.spinning them around is nothing nice or natural.Maybe more an educational approach would be better.Im showing you our fish pond.
