点评：Took my father in law (Eric), his eldest daughter and her partner, we’re all very much into aviation in different ways but nonetheless we had a fabulous visit.
Eric is a retired aircraft engineer so already had more existing knowledge than we did but the staff were all very helpful at filling in any gaps.
There was also an opportunity for us to be escorted inside the workshop area, here we were shown various items going through some complex and time consuming restorative work, that in itself was a special treat.
I found the visit both interesting and enlightening, it very much brought home to me the bravery and sacrifices of those involved in warfare.
I’d say the admission fee is reasonable too, so many individual exhibits to discover and read about, definitely allow a few hours if you want to really take it all in.
