点评：I chose Harriet Kelsall's Hitchin studio after some careful investigation, and I was not disappointed. I was accompanied on my first visit by my three adult children who were all keen to be part of the creation of my ring. I was quite recently widowed and I wanted to create something to commemorate what would have been our fiftieth wedding anniversary, if possible incorporating the gold from my husband's wedding ring. Alice took a great deal of time and trouble to understand my vision, and despite a huge variety of images which I had pinned to my moodboard, we arrived at the perfect ring, combining baguette diamonds for my love of art deco with three tourmalines (one stone for each of my children in my favourite colour). When it became clear that the gold from my husband's ring would not tolerate the stress of being reworked into the shape I had chosen, Alice was able to come up with a solution by incorporating a small disc of the gold from my husband's ring on the inside of the new one, making this a truly bespoke ring, which is uniquely mine. I couldn't be happier with the result. I had three appointments in total to ensure that Alice's design was being brought to life as I wanted, and nothing was too much trouble, My sincere thanks to everyone at Harriet Kelsall for going to so much trouble to ensure the best possible result in the circumstances.
