点评：We had fun but I feel like we would have possibly had more fun had we been with different guides. The nearby rafting companies need from the same spot so really the only difference in your extension is going to be the guide. Our guide was just OK. He didn't really seem very excited to be there. He was definitely good at the guiding part, however his personality was lacking. He didn't offer any information other than answering questions that were asked by my family or the other family that was on the raft.
One thing that was quite upsetting was that on the bus ride to get to where we were going to get in the rafts, one of the guides and I were talking and he asked where I was from. I said Las Vegas. His response was, "I'm sorry." Who says that!? Who asks you where you're from and then tells you that they are sorry that is where you are from. I responded to him that Las Vegas is a very beautiful city with so many different kinds of things to do including many different nature activities. His reply to me was, "I've never heard anyone say that before." I did not respond, although I sure wanted to! At that point I just decided I did not want to waste my energy on him or allow him to ruin my experience. I thought about it several times, and even someone else on the bus that heard him came up to me a little while later and said they could not believe that he said that to me.
I was a bit nervous to do the excursion as I have some back and neck problems, however, it was actually quite comfortable and I did not have any issues later that day or the next day.
