Bergerac Wine Tours的点评
点评：You must do this if you visit the area. We had a short tour through the countryside, with Alex telling us about the region. Our first stop was Vignoble des Vignots, where Alex gave us an overview of the region and the day’s plans. Then the lovely staff took us on a tour of the cellar and gave a fascinating talk, followed by a wine tasting. We sampled 10 or 11 varied wines from across their whole range - all were fabulous (don’t worry, there are spittoons of that sounds too much!). We then drove to an intimate, family run restaurant for a delicious lunch.
Next was a tour of the wine coop nearby, where Alex talked us through the various processes and equipment in the warehouse, then we sampled some of the coop wines - again, so varied and delicious.
Our final stop of the day was a chocolate museum, with a brilliant immersive talk on chocolate. Then chocolate tasting! What more could you want. Plenty of gift options at all of the places we went to and Alex was super helpful from booking online, collecting us from our hotel, to the end of our trip when he dropped us back at our hotel. He is an interesting and friendly guide and has been doing this 13 years or so, and knows so much. Really good value for a 7 hour trip.
