点评：I was looking forward to enjoying a meal and conversation with some old friends. Heard about the brunch at the Brook and was excited because we had been there on several occasions over the years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our reservations was for a group of 10. To say I was underwhelmed is a gross overstatement!! What jokingly passed for a salad bar had only 3 toppings with no additional salad accouterments and only 2 dressing choices. The chafing dishes had not visible source of heat to keep the food at a safe temperature. The scrambled eggs were tasteless. No bacon or sausage but there were some pizza slices melded together in a warming pan. 3 kinds of potatoes, each drier then dust. Even the cold paste-like gravy didn't help. The waffles and french toast were not bad but the syrup had begun to crystalize . They advertise a carving station and there was someone carving ham slices that were cold and dry. Also missing was the advertised omelet station.
The dessert table was a melange of store bought goodies. The beverage table consisted of lukewarm cranberry and orange juice. The coffee was probably the only saving grace for the brunch buffet, It was very good but there was only a half cup left in the carafe of regular and the hot water carafe was empty. The brunch began at 11 am until 2pm. Our reservation was for 12:30, I cant understand the total decimation of a brunch buffet unless a football team were the first seated quest. No attention to detail. No attention to quality control. Being in the enviable position of being the only restaurant in the area that serves a brunch every Sunday you'd think they would put forth more effort,
