Will NONE of your milk be sourced locally given this change?
If so, you need to update your website.
My Grandpa made his living selling milk to the Coquille Valley Dairy Co-op (Bandon Creamery). There are multiple organic dairies all around you yet you refuse to pay the premium for organic milk.
Now every local dairy will be certified organic, so are you are apparently planning to source ALL your milk from non local and non organic suppliers going forward?
Why the resistance to organic cheese? it's healthier and better quality.
Your price point is already high, why not make your cheese from premium Coos County organic milk? Yes there is a difference.
Don't understand. Consumers need the truth.
If you no longer source from Scolari at some point, please remove the local claim from your website.
Plus, if none of the milk is sourced locally, no longer interested in purchasing your product in the future. This is an insult to grandpa.
If you value organic products with locally sourced ingredients, suggest the consumer look elsewhere in the future.
You could even get sick eating this cheese, give recent Listeria concerns:
