Sub Standard Toastie
Tiffanys Bar的点评
点评：Went for a light lunch. I had a sausage roll which was good, my wife had a tuna toastie and salad. The salad was actually within the toastie along with a very small portion of tuna. The bread itself was white in appearance. My wife, never one to complain, ate the morcel of tuna and a little of the salad.
I took the "toast" to the counter and asked if their toaster was working as the bread was not toasted. One assistant said she had put the bread into the toaster adding not everyone likes their toast well done. I pointed out to her that there was no colour at all in the bread and the sunshine would do a better job than their toaster! Also pointed out to her that it was unacceptable that both she AND her colleague would serve something which clearly sub standard.
No apology was forthcoming.
Needless to say we will not return to Tiffany's. Plenty of other bars to choose from.
