Efficient transport in Bermuda

点评：I was staying in St George's, Bermuda, for a few days scuba diving and needed some cheap transport between my accommodation and the dive shop n Grotto Bay (Dive Bermuda - see separate review). I booked and paid for the cheapest scooter in advance, on line, and the depot was open and ready for me at the agreed time.
The scooters have had a tough life with tourists, and look a little banged up cosmetically, though mine seemed mechanically sound. It always started first time and everything seemed to work (headlight, indicators, etc). It did tend to pull to the left a bit, and went to the shopfront a couple of times to ask about it but I always managed to chose a time when it wasn't open. I got used to it. At least it wasn't pulling me into oncoming traffic!
I was cheap to run. I only had to put petrol in it twice - the second time was when I returned it. I met the guy in the parking lot. He took a quick look at the bike, checked the petrol (by looking in the tank!) and sent me on my way. I gather it was going straight out again!
They drive on the left here, like England (but so do I). Everyone seems very patient on the road and the speed limits are low.
You get a crash helmet, a wheel lock, a bit of instruction and a bit of practice and off you go!
There's no Uber or other ride share in Bermuda (as at September 2026), so this was a superior choice for me to get to the dive shop every day.

你会得到一个头盔、一个车轮锁，还会得到一些操作指导及练习机会，之后就可以上路啦！
截至2026年9月，百慕大还没有Uber或其他拼车服务，所以对我而言，这种方式是每天前往潜水店的绝佳选择。
