点评：We were a family from Houston, TX, of 4 adults and two girls, a 10 year old and 4 year old, visiting Stone House Vineyard in Spicewood, TX on Saturday, July 18, 2026. When we entered the main room, an unsmiling mature woman behind the counter announced "Unfortunately, I have some bad news. No children are allowed. But here is a card for a free wine tasting in the future." Ok, we could accept that since we did not notice their "adults-only atmosphere" mentioned on their website. But it was the TONE in her voice, and her pompous ATTITUDE that displayed a tinge of "snootiness". She was NOT very welcoming, nor did she even crack a smile! There were no signs outside the building stating NO CHILDREN ALLOWED which would have saved us a lot of effort to park and walk down the driveway to the building. We noticed only a small number of customers were there, around 6 people. The vineyard was amazing, but the woman behind the counter that day was all BUT amazing. Fortunately later, our day became fun when we traveled down the road to another winery called Spicewood Winery. What a change of atmosphere! The hostess was friendly, charming, and very welcoming. Children were allowed, the place itself was packed with happy customers. The atmosphere was relaxed... giving a nice chill vibe. We will certainly be back! I recommend it highly! But BEWARE! AVOID STONE HOUSE VINEYARD!
