点评：Our family of 18 recently returned from an incredibly meaningful private tour with WindhorseTour, and I cannot recommend them enough.
Why did we go to Qingyang, Zhengyuan, a remote part of Gansu? We were tracing our family roots back to Anding, searching for our ancestral hall. WindhorseTour didn't just book flights and hotels—they spent an entire year helping us research and verify the location of our ancestor hall. Their dedication and effort were truly beyond expectations.
A special mention goes to Yuki, who was the person from WindhorseTour working on this tour from Day 1. She put in tremendous effort into the research and, together with her team at WindhorseTour, verified the location of our ancestral hall. Throughout our entire journey, she remained always contactable, which gave us great peace of mind.
Our tour started and ended in Chengdu. They planned a seamless itinerary that included wonderful sightseeing stops before we reached Zhenyuan. Every detail was handled: hotels, transport, and even the efficient coordination of our large luggage across multiple cities. For long-distance travel, they arranged trains instead of buses—fast, comfortable, and they even managed to secure first-class seats for all 18 of us.
The guides were exceptional. We had one main guide, Lily, who stayed with us for the entire journey, plus local guides in Xi’an (Wendy) and an entire team in Qingyang. Every guide was knowledgeable, professional, and passionate. Meals were specially tailored to suit our tastes, which made the long journey even more enjoyable.
In short, WindhorseTour is a reliable, trustworthy, and deeply professional travel company. They turned what could have been a complicated logistical challenge into a smooth, unforgettable family journey.
