点评：I have had the most incredible experience trekking in the Kanchenjunga National Park with Mountain Tours and Travels (MTT). I wanted to do this trek alone and not with a group and Mingma of MTT accommodated my requests and provided a very reasonable rate. From the very beginning, before the trek, he was incredibly supportive - gave me required information on the itinerary, suggested packing, customised food plan, etc. The best, however, was saved for the trek itself. I was paired with an incredible team of guides and assistants, who went out of their way to make the trek successful.
Unfortunately, I did the trek during a cyclone in the bay of bengal, which created extremely unfavourable weather conditions - continuous rain and snow for 6 days on the trail. While most groups around us abandoned the trek, my team took careful decisions on proceeding, despite having to experience far greater difficulties themselves. Through all the immense challenges, the team did not let it affect me in any way and made sure that I reached the summit (zero risk). I still look back at the immense sacrifice and effort that the guides put in and it humbles me. Thanks to Kassang, the incredibly kind, knowledgable guide who came along with me.
I would strongly recommend this company to everyone planning to trek Goecha La!
