点评：We popped into Museu de l’Empordà after visiting the Dalí Museum, and it was such a pleasant, quiet surprise. Entry is free if you hold a Dalí ticket—total bonus for travellers. It sits on Figueres’ Rambla in a sleek modern building, note you must enter via the theatre door, easy to miss at first.
The museum has three light, uncrowded floors, we spent roughly two hours wandering. Ground floor hosts rotating temporary shows, while upper floors hold permanent collections tracing Empordà’s art history: medieval stone carvings, modernist sculptures, local landscape paintings and contemporary works. Ceramics and regional artists’ pieces stood out to me.
If driving, street parking a short walk away; skip rushing, take time to absorb the area’s unique cultural character here.
