点评：We were four people and hired Junior for the day, mostly because of his reputation for bird tours. We were not disappointed. This is our second trip to Tobago and we were here this time for a month so we'd already done a lot of travelling ourselves around the island. What Junior offered was taking us off the main roads for both breathtaking views and seeing birds we would otherwise overlook completely. The highlight of the trip was the Gilpin Trail (Junior provided us with Wellington's!) where - thanks to Junior- we saw three of the six species that people travel to the rainforest hoping to see: a pair of Collared Trogons, more than one Blue-backed Manakin and the White-tailed Sabrewing Hummingbird. He knew these birds' different calls and songs and exactly when they were getting closer and we could see them. He identified them before my Merlin app could tell me what was singing. We also went to Little Tobago on the trip, but Junior was forthcoming enough to suggest we needed a guide familiar with the birds there to get the most of the trip and he found a great guide, Troy, from Top Ranking Glass Bottom Boat Tours and joined us for the two hours; again, great bird watching. Junior is knowledgeable about the birds and the island and we learned a lot from him about life in Tobago. He was a safe a driver and not in a hurry. Junior also has a hummingbird gallery, but it was the wrong time of day when we passed by there to see them.
