Waipio Valley Shuttle的点评
点评：Excellent Tour of the Waipiʻo Valley Floor
We had a great experience on the Waipiʻo Valley Shuttle tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, sharing the valley’s history along with information about its seasons, plants, agriculture, and local economy.
The drive itself is part of the adventure. The road descends at grades of up to 38%, followed by several stream and river crossings once you reach the valley floor. It was exhilarating without ever feeling rushed.
The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with lush tropical landscapes, dramatic cliffs, and beautiful waterfalls throughout the valley.
One word of warning for anyone staying around the Kona resorts: this is an entirely different climate. We left warm, sunny Kona and arrived to much cooler, wetter conditions. Bring a jacket and rain gear. Fortunately, the tour had rain ponchos available, which definitely came in handy.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the valley beyond the overlook.
