点评：*) We visited in June 2026 and can confirm that "Ralliah Dam View Point" is the correct location for the attraction as marked on Google Maps.
*) The area is extremely remote and secluded, accessed via a narrow road that requires careful driving, especially in a four-wheeler.
*) Upon arrival, we found that the location is effectively closed to regular visitors. Access is blocked by a gate, and reaching it requires climbing a small marshy embankment.
*) There was a security guard present, but access appeared to be restricted and not formally organized for tourists. Visitors should not expect reliable or official public entry to the site.
*) Given the difficult approach, restricted access, and lack of visitor facilities or attractions, the journey does not justify the effort.
*) Overall, this is a misleading map location and is best avoided. Visitors would be better served spending their time at one of the many accessible viewpoints and attractions in the Ooty–Coonoor region.
