A visit with so much excitement spoiled with unscrupoulus practices of local pandits.

点评：Visiting this temple was no doubt a divine expreience with one of the main attractions was to reach the sanctum (garbh-gruh) through a small 3 steps stair in semi-standing/sitting position and performing the abhishek. It is a small sanctum which is just 3 ft high. During early morning hours crowd is very less, but it increases exponentially as the day progresses. You get to perform Abhishek throughout the day.
What saddens me is the nexus the local pandits are running with the security guards and taking away the temple earnings by luring the devotees with hefty charges at the entry to the temple with exclusive express visits to sanctum and performing abhishek rituals. These pandits will initally inform the devotees about providing temple receipts for express visits and abhishek and post performing the same will take payment and nothing goes to the temple which is a big racket running at Aundha Naganath. I too got conned the similar way. Another bad experience is about few people such as miscelleneous pandits, the cleaning & housekeeping staff, some beggars inside the temple premise openly troubles devotees for money and making their overall experience sad. I request local authorities to take note of this unscrupulous practices and stop it and help in making the visiting devotees experience better. Infact if the temple trust regularises these rituals and express visits through official bookings online/offline, the earnings will help create better facilities in and around the temple and also creating a good experience for devotees.
