National Golf Club的点评
点评：Extremely poor value for money and nowhere near the standard we expected.
We played National Golf Club as part of a golf trip around Belek and had been particularly excited about this round given that the course hosted the DP World Tour Turkish Open only around four months ago.
Unfortunately, the reality was incredibly disappointing.
The condition of the course simply wasn’t acceptable for a venue charging premium green fees. There were areas of GUR on fairways throughout the course, and the greens were particularly poor. Even the holes themselves had brown, damaged edges, with grass folding and thatching around them. It looked like a course struggling badly with its condition rather than somewhere that had recently hosted a major professional tournament.
We played other courses in the area during the same trip and the difference was enormous. Carya and Nobilis were in excellent condition, which made National stand out for all the wrong reasons.
What frustrated us further was the response when we raised our concerns. We weren’t looking to create an argument; we simply felt that, having paid substantial green fees plus approximately €200 for four buggies between eight of us, the club should acknowledge that the course being presented to paying guests was well below the standard advertised and expected.
Instead, the senior manager declined to speak to us directly and the only compensation offered was eight complimentary drinks.
The staff we dealt with personally were friendly and professional, so this isn’t aimed at them. The disappointment is with the condition of the golf course and the response from management when a group of customers raised a genuine and reasonable complaint.
For a course with National’s reputation and recent DP World Tour exposure, we expected considerably better.
Based on the condition we experienced, I couldn’t recommend paying the premium to play here at the moment. There are far better-presented golf courses in Belek for similar money.
