点评:Very disappointing experience.
At the ticket office, we asked for four tickets and paid €80. At no point did the staff ask how old our daughters were. Our oldest daughter is 20 and our youngest is 16, so we naturally assumed the correct tickets were being issued.
After visiting the archaeological site, I checked the admission rules online and discovered that EU citizens under the age of 25 are entitled to free admission. I returned to the ticket office to explain the situation, but they rudely refused to issue any refund.
To make matters worse, this policy was not displayed on the price board at the ticket office (see photos). When I pointed out that it is the ticket staff’s responsibility to ask visitors’ ages before selling tickets, I was told, “That’s not my job.”
This is unacceptable customer service. Visitors should be properly informed about ticket eligibility and not overcharged because staff fail to ask a simple question. The lack of information, the dismissive attitude, and the refusal to correct an obvious mistake left us feeling completely ripped off.
